Carl Hauke

Carl Thomas Hauke, age 77, of Sardinia, Ohio, died  Thursday, August 1, 2013.

He was born May 24, 1936 in Hillsboro, OH, son of the late Carl Frank John Hauke  and Glee Levon Jodry Hauke.

He was baptized into Christ at the Union Church of Christ on July 31, 1975, was a member of the Dade City Christian Church in Dade City, Fl; was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served from 1955 to 1959.  Tom was a successful farmer and retired after 26 years of farming; he also enjoyed woodworking.

Survivors include is his wife, Myrna L. Hauke of Sardinia, OH, whom he married August 24, 1957, son, Jeffrey Lynn Hauke of Oklahoma City, OK, daughter, Melissa Ann Hauke of Arlington, VA, and son, Kevin (Angie) Hauke of Hillsboro. Also surviving is sister, Katherine (Herb) Humphries of Amelia, granddaughter, Elizabeth Marie Trainer of Raleigh, NC, granddaughter, Logan Alise Hauke, grandson, Kevin Landan Hauke both of Hillsboro, one great-grandson, Joey Trainer, and several nieces & nephews.

In addition to his parents, Carl was preceded in death by a brother, James Hauke,and a sister, Evelyn Wilson.

Memorial services will be held at Edgington Funeral Home, Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at 7:00 pm with Pastor Jason  Moore officiating.

Friends will be received at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00p.m. .
