Brenda  Goodman,
of Wilmington, OH, age 69 died October 22, 2013 at home. She passed away due to a long illness.
Her visitation will be on Sunday, October 27, 2013 from 12 Noon until 2PM, with a memorial service following at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington.   Pastor Dale Hayes officiating.
She was born May 12, 1944 in Bloomington, Indiana.  She was a fantastic wife, mom, mamaw and friend.  She is the daughter of the late William Edward (Sanny) Pitts of Anderson, IN and the daughter of the late Dorothy Hettel (Floyd) Fortner of Bloomington, Indiana.  Also preceding her in death is her brother- Edward Darnell (Pittsie) Pitts of Alabama.  Also preceding in death are some aunts and uncles.  She is survived by her husband of 51 years of marriage, Cletus D. Goodman.  They are the owners of "This & That Treasures and Paperback Trade".  She is also survived by 3 children- Wyla Goodman, Wilmington, Mike (Rhonda) Goodman, Hillsboro, and Mark Goodman, Marshall, OH; 5 grandsons- Dustin (Peggy) Goodman, Goshen, OH, Colten (Tiffany) Goodman, Wilmington, Christopher (Kellie) Goodman, who is stationed at Ft. Stewart, GA, Derek (Chelsy) Chambliss, Huber Heights, OH, & Justin Chambliss, who is attending college at Wright State University.  She is also survived by 2 great-grandsons+ one on the way & 2 great-granddaughters + one on the way; 2 God-Daughters- Heather (Bryon) Stommel & Lisa (Mike) Baker, both of Pendleton, Indiana; close extended family member Mable (Bob) Heath, Markleville, IN; 3 brothers- Harold (Debbie) Pitts, Lafayette, IN, Brian Lu Fortner, Nashville, IN & William T. (Bill) Pitts of Anderson, IN; several cousins, nephews, nieces and an aunt & uncle throughout Indiana.  The Family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the Community Care Hospice for the great care that they gave to the family.
