Brenda Ann Bowman
Saturday night, June 29, 2013, Brenda Bowman joyfully claimed her new, healthy body in the presence of Jesus. The pain of her passing was eased by the loving care of family, friends and the staff of Venetian Gardens in Loveland, OH.
Brenda was born November 8, 1938, in Hamilton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Claude and Lula (Wells) Waddell. She married her best friend Gerald on July 27, 1957.
Brenda lived life to the fullest and loved it best when surrounded by her family. Throughout her life, she loved to play the piano, was an avid gardener, and loved to dote on her children and grandchildren most of all. She was co-owner and CFO of Bowman T.V. L.L.C. for forty years. She and Gerry were part of the core team that planted Morrow Church of Christ; at the time of her passing Brenda was a member of Wilmington Church of Christ.
Brenda is survived by her husband of 55 years, Gerald; 1 son –Greg (Connie) Bowman, Elgin, IL; and 1 daughter – Elizabeth (Bill) Kennedy, Clarksville, OH; 4 grandchildren – Mackenzie Kennedy, Ben Kennedy, Courtney (Ed) Burton, Chris (Corrie) Bowman; and 2 great grand children.
She is also survived by: 2 sons – Gerald (Lauri) Bowman, Louisville, KY; and Steve (Bobby Jo) Bowman, Martinsville, OH; 7 grandchildren Joshua Bowman, Jennifer Bowman, Jacob Bowman, Matthew Bowman, Jacob Bowman, Steven Bowman, and Abigail Bowman; and 2 greatgrandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her sisters – Freda Bruner, Nadine Flick, Imogene Cain, Betty Conway, and 1 brother – John Waddell.
Funeral Services will be held 2PM, Friday, July 5, 2013 at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington with Greg Bowman officiating. Interment will follow in the Harlan Township Cemetery, on Edwardsville Road in Warren County.
Friends will be received from Noon until 2 PM Friday at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, OH.
