Bob Brown,
age 94, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away Sunday morning, August 27, 2023 at home surrounded by loved ones.
He was born February 16, 1929 in Sciotoville, OH, son of the late Arthur & Mae (Jenkins) Brown. On June 26, 1954 in Greenup, Kentucky, he married Aleta Jane Adkins Brown.
A US Army Korean War Veteran, Bob started Brown Plumbing, Wilmington, in 1961. He owned and operated the business until 1991. He was an active member of Wilmington Assembly of God since 1957. He had served as president of the Full Gospel Businessmen's Fellowship International, Wilmington Chapter.
In addition to his wife, other surviving members are his 3 sons- Rob (Patty) Brown, Nashville, TN, Steve (Christy) Brown, Wilmington, and Tony (Beth) Brown, Jupiter, FL; 6 grandchildren- Cori (Michael) Nash, Casey (Parker) Seabolt, Stevie Brown, Gabriella (Anthony) Breen, Noah Brown, & Preston Brown; 3 great-grandchildren- Reed, Sadie, & Bear.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by 2 sisters- Elsie Graff & Charlotte Nichols and 2 brothers- Harold & Joe Brown.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM., Friday, September 1, 2023 at Wilmington Assembly of God, 609 West Locust Street, Wilmington, with Pastor John Wirmel officiating. Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington, Ohio, where the Wilmington American Legion Post #49 will accord full military honors.
Friends will be received at the church from 10 AM until the time of services on Friday. The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Burial Service will immediately follow the Funeral Services at the Church. The Wilmington American Legion Post #49 Honor Squad will accord military rites.
