Billie Rae Flint,
age 65, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly late Saturday night, September 25, 2021 at home.
She was born April 5, 1956 in Hamilton, OH, daughter of the late William Woodford JR and Wanneta Loudin Woodford.
Billie retired from ABX where she was a scheduler and router, after 38 years of service. Her grandkids and great grandson were her world and she spent part of her retirement babysitting her great grandson and attending her grandchildren's sporting events often traveling to Indiana where 3 of them live. She loved her family and friends and gathering with everyone.
Billie and her husband Mark enjoyed trying new restaurants and supporting local businesses. There were three restaurants, The Mediterranean, Fiesta Veracruz and Gold Star
that knew the couple by name and what they were going to order. Billie never met a stranger and considered everyone a friend.
She loved planting flowers, gardening, sunsets and bonfires. She was an avid collector of Henn pottery and baskets, Longaberger baskets, and tea sets with her favorite flower, violets on them. She was a member of the Red Hats and enjoyed antiquing, attending the longest yard sale and many more fun activities.
Surviving is her husband of 45 years, Mark Flint, daughter, Shannon (Travis) Stockwell, son, Mark Shane (Courtney) Flint, mother-in-law, Velma Flint, her grandchildren, Hailey (Nate McCabe) Appleman, Trevin, Ryleigh & Emmy Stockwell, Paige (Adam) McCoy and Mikayla Burke, and a great grandson, Ethan McCabe. Also surviving are three brothers- James (Jane) Woodford, Rick (Lorrie) Woodford, Andy (Barbie) Woodford, a sister- Donna (Don) Bennett and brother-in-law, Jon A. Flint.
In addition to her parents, Billie was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Johnny Flint and a sister-in-law, Rosemary Flint Macke.
Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, October 18, 2021 at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, with Pastor Bob Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in the Clinton County Memory Gardens, Wilmington, Ohio.
Friends will be received at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home on Monday 11:00 am - 1:00 pm.
