Billie Beth Rhoades, age 61, of Wilmington, OH, passed away Saturday morning, November 14, 2015 at home surrounded by loved ones.
She was born November 10, 1954 in Wilmington, OH, daughter of the late William F. and Minnie Lucille Black Rhoades.
Beth graduated Wilmington High School in 1973 and earned a medical secretary diploma from Southern Ohio Business College in 1974. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Beth also was a childcare provider for 38 years and although she had no children of her own, she loved all of the children in her care.
Surviving are sister, Melanie (Chuck) Massie of Wilmington, OH, nephew, Chuck (Samantha) Massie, niece, Stephanie Blue, four great-nieces, Breanna, Audrey, Olivia, and Savannah Massie, three great-nephews, Paul Blue, Charles and Shawn Massie, uncle, Don (Elizabeth) Black of Pflugerville, TX, aunt, Shirley Hedges of Hillsboro, OH, and several cousins. She also leaves good friends Venita and Robert Rhoads and Peggy (John) Hasdorff, who have been so helpful during her illness.
In addition to her parents Beth was preceded in death by an infant brother, William David Rhoades.
Services will be held at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 W. Locust St. Wilmington, November 20, 2015 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington, OH.
Friends will be received at the funeral Friday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
