Bill Peterson

 William W. "Bill" Peterson,

age 77, of New Vienna, Ohio, passed away early Friday morning, January 17, 2025 at Hospice of Dayton. 

 He was born November 25, 1947 in Cleveland, Ohio, son of the late Lewis Erwin & Vivian Mae (Neff) Peterson. On August 8, 1970 in Tampa, Florida, he married Dottie (Fabry) Peterson, who survives.

 A Vietnam War Era US Air Force Veteran, he was a member of the First Baptist Church of Fayetteville. Bill retired as an aircraft mechanic and an instructor at Airborne Express after over 20 years of service.

 In addition to his wife, other surviving family members are his daughter- Wendy (Seth) McFarland, Brevard, NC; 2 sons- Kenneth Peterson of Columbus, OH, & David (Tara) Peterson of Jacksonville, NC; grandchildren- Aiden McFarland, Gage Peterson, Josh McFarland, Matthew McFarland; and 2 sisters- Linda Kamp of Ashland, OH, & Carol (Dean) Mahaffey of Creston, NC.

 Pending Memorial Services will be held at First Baptist Church of Fayetteville, 3365 US-50, Fayetteville, OH with Pastors Darryl Roundtree and John Wright officiating at a later date in the Spring.
