Betty Fisher

Betty   Fisher,
age 77, of Pataskala, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly early Wednesday morning, February 10, 2016 at Mount Carmel East in Columbus, Ohio.

She was born December 26, 1938 in Columbus, OH, daughter of the late William E & Helen (Davis) Carson.

She graduated from Newark High School in 1957.  She worked for Eastern Airlines in New York City and Columbus as a reservations and ticketing agent where she met Noel.  They married in 1960 and she dedicated herself to raising her family.  Betty enjoyed creating beautiful quilts and researching her family's roots; she filled nearly 20 binders with records from her extensive genealogy research, cemetery visits and grave rubbings.  She will be missed..

Betty is survived by her loving husband- Noel; her 4 children-Teresa, Jeff (Alisa),  Keith (Molly), & Kevin; grandsons- Craig & Matt; great-grandson- Michael; her little Yorkie dog- Addy; and  friends- Marty Fisher, Lavon Swager, & Barbara Riggs, just to name a few.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her sister- Jean Carson.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 13, 2016 at the Sugar Grove Cemetery, West Truesdell Street, Wilmington with Pastor McCormick  officiating.  The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington is assisting the family.  There will be a special memorial celebration of Betty's life in the upcoming weeks in Columbus (TBD) for those who cannot travel on Saturday.
