Betty Ann Brown

  Betty Ann Brown, age 67, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.  
 
 She was born May 6, 1956 in Wilmington, Ohio, daughter of the late Henry Everett Brown and Maggie May Ames Brown.
 
  Betty enjoyed the outdoors especially camping and fishing. In her neighborhood she was known as "Nana", the Neighborhood Grandma. She loved spending time with her family and friends..
 
 Surviving are her 3daughters, Contessa (James) Goodwin, Donita (Charles) Dunn, Elizabeth  Huff; 8 Grandchildren, Skylare (Levi) Walker, Jonah (Malynnda) Gilbert, Adam Dunn, Cadence Setty, Haley Huff, Hannah Huff, Tiffany (Kaleb) Adams and James Goodwin, II. Also surviving are 9 great-grandchildren, Madilyn, Abigail, Tate, Vincent, Addison, Patrick, Zane, Emlee and Ezra as well as 3 siblings, Alice Fork, Jackie (Matt) Downing, Johnny (Theresa) Brown, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
 
 In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by a sister, Stella Lhotka, nephews Gary & Bart Lhotka.
 
 Services will be held at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Sunday, September 3, 2023 at 2:00 pm with Chaplin Veronica Grabill officiating.  Following cremation a burial service for her remains will be Thursday, September 21, at 2:00 p.m. in the Sugar Grove Cemetery.
 
 Friends will be received at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, Ohio Sunday, September 3, 2023, 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm followed by a gathering of friends and family in the Moyer Community Room in the City of Wilmington Municipal Building.
