Beth Ann Mains, age 61, of Hillsboro, Ohio, passed away peacefully and suddenly on February 9, 2021 at her home.
She was born November 7, 1959 in Cincinnati, Ohio, daughter of the late Abe Thomas and Zella Mae Sharpe Mains.
Surviving are her daughter, Tishia Lynn (Shaloi) Gunton, son, Brandon Bowling, three grandchildren, Ian, Lennon, and Lucy, nephew, Bret Mains, and many close friends and family. Beth never knew a stranger, to all the kids of the family she was lovingly known as “G-ma Beth” and her world was brighter because of them. Beth spent some of her happiest times carving and painting and talked fondly of her work at Community Action. She was a fan of Bob Marley, a talented guitarist, and knew how to get down to some bluegrass. In her (and Bob Marley’s) words, she’d want us to know that “every little thing gonna be alright...”.
In addition to her parents, Beth was preceded in death by her brother, Brian K. Mains and her partner of several years, Tina Bowling.
Friends will be received at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, 138 E. Main St. Hillsboro, Ohio Saturday, February 13, 2021, from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Council of the Blind of Ohio, 3805 North High St., Suite 305 Columbus, OH 43214.
