Bertha M. Roush, age 91, of Wilmington, formerly of the Buford Community, died Sunday, January 20, 2013 at the Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington, OH.
She was born December 11, 1921 in Highland County, OH, daughter of the late Melvin Lewis Stratton and Rosa Lavina Swartz Stratton.
She was a member of Buford Church of Christ.
Surviving are two sons, Vinton (Michelle) Roush of Fairfield, OH, Obie (Adrian) Ewing-Roush of Louisville, KY, two daughters, Teresa Roush of Wilmington, OH, and Rosanna (Hans) Oatlepp of Milford. Also surviving is a sister, Mary Louderback, of Buford, 17 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents Bertha was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Jacob Roush, 1 son, Gary Samuel Roush, a grandson, John Lewis Roush, a sister, Hazel Naylor, three brothers, Oscar, Edgar, and Ralph Stratton.
Services will be held at the Buford Church of Christ, at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 25, 2013 with Mike Roush officiating. Private burial services will follow in the Buford Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the church on Friday, 12:00 noon until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. .
