Berneda A. Long, age 86, of Hillsboro, formerly of Mowrystown, died Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at the Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro, OH.
She was born August 7, 1927 in Mowrystown, OH, daughter of the late Ralph Trautman and Mary Kirk Trautman.
She was a life member of the Mowrystown Presbyterian Church where she was also a member of the Ladies Aid, and was a member of the American Legion Auxillary.
Survivors include four daughters, Eva (Terry) Martin of West Chester, Carol (Tom) Eichinger of Hillsboro, Kay Overstake, and Mary (Joel) Quirt of Los Angeles, CA. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Berneda was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Long, a daughter, Joyce Harvey, and a brother, Ralph Trautman Jr.
Services will be held at the Mowrystown Presbyterian Church, Monday, September 16, 2013 at 12:00 pm with Rev. Mark Mong officiating. Interment will follow in the Mowrystown Cemetery, Mowrystown, Ohio.
Friends will be received at the church on Monday, 10:00 am until the time of service at noon.
