Benjamin W. Denkenberger,
Age 81, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away surrounded by his family, early Wednesday Morning, May 8, 2013 at his home in Wilmington.
He was born February 3, 1932 in Kingwood, WV, son of the late Edward & Angela (Gulp) Denkenberger.  On October 27, 1979 in Wilmington, he married Regina Fay Rainey Guzzi, who survives.
Benjamin retired as a glue technician at International Paper after 19 years of service and had also worked with the Wilmington Transit Company as a cab driver for over 4 years.  He loved fishing, hunting, camping, the outdoors, and spending time with his family.
Ben attended the First Church of God, Wilmington.
In addition to his wife, other surviving family members are his 3 daughters- Sandy (Dave) Matthews,  of AK, Cheryl Denkenberger, of AK & Angela (Brian) Tolliver of Wilmington; step-son- Michael (Becky) Guzzi of Wilmington, OH; 2 step-daughters- Dianna (Gary) Handy of Wilmington, & Carmella Conley of Wilmington; daughter-in-law- Debbie (Carl) Denkenberger Guenther, of Wilmington; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a brother- Harry (Merna) Denkenberger of Kingwood, WV; and many nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Denkenberger was preceded in death by his first wife- Delores Fizer Denkenberger; son- Rick Denkenberger; his infant son- Ben W. Denkenberger Jr; 3 brothers- Edward, Joseph & Frank Denkenberger; and 5  Sisters- Matilda, Rosie, Maggie, Marie, & Martha.
Funeral Services will be held 12:00 Noon, May 11, 2013 at the First Church of God, 200 A Street, Wilmington with Rev. Larry Speelman  & Pastor Tom Huffman officiating.  Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington, Ohio.
Friends will be received from  5-8 PM, Friday, May 10, 2013 and from 10 AM until 11 AM, Saturday, May 11 at the Church.  The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington is assisting the family.
