Anna Mae Baird

Anna Mae Baird,

age 69 of Hillsboro, Ohio, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Thursday morning, August 17, 2023 in the Gulf Shores Alabama area where she had been vacationing with friends.  She was born November 20, 1953 in Manchester, Ohio, the daughter of Frank & Nellie Jane (Holsinger) Baird.  Surviving are her brother, Richard Lee (Alice) Baird of West Union, OH; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends in the Highland County area. 
Anna enjoyed watching people and had a wonderful smile which she shared with everyone she met, especially her roommates, Empowering People staff and friends at Highco.  Anna thought much of and enjoyed her hospice nurse, Rebecca.
In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Baird.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, September 7th at 1:00 pm at the Highland County Board of Developmental Disabilities, 8919 US 50; Hillsboro, OH with Deborah Camp-Ross officiating.
Private interment at a later date will be in the Manchester Cemetery, Manchester, Ohio, where she will be laid to rest next to her mother. 
The Edgington Funeral Home, Mowrystown, Ohio has been entrusted with the arrangements.
