Anita Slone

Anita Nichols Slone,
Age 66, of Wilmington, Ohio,  passed away Thursday afternoon, March 21, 2013at Clinton Memorial Hospital  in Wilmington, Ohio.

She was born March 12, 1947 in Wilmington, OH, daughter of the late John & Julienne (Henry) Nichols.  On November 21, 2009 in Sabina, she married Jeffrey Slone, who survives.

Anita worked as a Sales Clerk for Various retail stores in the area.She was a member of the Sky Warn Spotter Group, and had attended St. Columbkille Catholic Church and the Sabina Baptist Church.  She had Taught in 4-H and loved kids and enjoyed fishing, arts and crafts.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her step-children- John Micah Slone, Wilmington, Jeremy (Carmen) Slone, Columbus, Josh Slone, Washington Courthouse, & Jennifer Slone, Washington Courthouse; 2 step-grandchildren- Jacob & Madison Slone; sister- Monica (James) Horn, Los Angeles, CA; her favorite cats- Gabriel & Salem and lots of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Anita was preceded in death by her brother- John Craig Nichols.

A Funeral Service will be held 10:30 AM, Monday, March 25 at St. Columbkille Catholic Church, 73 North Mulberry Street, Wilmington with  Rev. Dan Osborn and Deacon Robert  Baker officiating.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of services.

The  Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, OH is serving the family.
