Amelia "Amy" B. Lisk,
age 88, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly early Saturday afternoon, May 7, 2016 at the Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born October 17, 1927 in Toledo, Ohio, daughter of the late Byron G. & Lelia Almeda (Auchmuty) Cowden.  On October 4, 1947 in Columbus Grove, Ohio, she married Roderick L. Lisk, who passed away on March 4, 2007.

Amy had been a member of the American Legion Auxillary since 1957 being the Blanchester American Legion Post 179 Auxillary-Past President and the Wilmington American Legion Post 49 Auxillary- Past President, the Salon 115 of the 8/40 unit of the American Legion for 48 years, the Rebecca I.O.O.F. #98, Blanchester and the Past Noble Grand Eudora #98, and the Faith Lutheran Church, Wilmington, where she was very active.

Surviving are her son- Louis Lisk of New Vienna, OH; daughters- Melody Manka of Bartlett, IL, & Lelina "Lee" (John) Burns of Midland, OH; 8 grandchildren- Amelia C. Lisk, Jamie Tyes, Tasha LaPrade, Joey Lisk, Stephen Lisk, Matthew Manka, Loretta Keech & Aaron Burns; 19 great-grandchildren; & brother- Lewis "Dick" Cowden of Ruskin, FL.

In addition to her parents and husband, Amy was preceded in death by her son- Terry Lee Lisk; sister- Annajane Haase; brother- James Cowden; son-in-law- Matt Manka & daughter-in-law- Daisy Lisk.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, May 13 at Faith Lutheran Church, 421 East Vine Street at Prairie Avenue, Wilmington with Rev. June Fryman officiating.  Interment will follow in the Clinton County Memory Gardens, Wilmington, Ohio.

Friends will be received from 4-8 PM, Thursday, May 12 at The Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West pm Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington.  The Blanchester American Legion Post #179 Auxillary Marion Unit will have a remembrance service at 7:30 PM Thursday to conclude the visitation hours.
