Alice Faye Purdin,
Age 70, of Wilmington, Ohio, passed away early Friday morning, February 3, 2017 at the Wilmington Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born September 27, 1946 in Tollesboro, Kentucky, daughter of the late Donald Goddard & Helen Roseanne (Jones) Harry.
Alice retired from the Greenfield Research after 25 years of service and had attended the Samantha Friends Meeting.
Surviving are her son- Patrick (Rhonda) Shultz of Wilmington; grandchildren- Ashley, Tara, Corey; One great-granddaughter; sisters- Donna Ray Meece of Brookville, OH, & Frieda (Wilbur) Rhoades of Sinking Spring, OH and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by Four Sisters.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, February 6, 2017 at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington with Pastor McCormick officiating. Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington.
Friends will be received from 10 AM until the time of services on Monday at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home.
