Adam "Paul" Popson Iii

Adam “Paul” Popson III was born on December 15, 1966 in Wilmington, OH to Barbara and Adam Popson Jr. He passed away unexpectedly on January 27th, 2023 in Dayton, OH. He was fifty-six years old.

Paul is survived by his devoted wife Andrea, whom he married October 15, 2005; daughter Amber; son Adam; granddaughter Brooklyn; grandson Ayden; sisters Honey Bennet and Beverly Small; brother Michael; parents Adam and Barbara; and many colleagues and friends. Paul was preceded in death by his sister Tammy Duggins.

Paul was deeply devoted to his family and friends, and while he will be greatly missed by many, we can be comforted by his legacy as a caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

Paul accompanied his father to job sites from an early age and could win nail driving competitions against adults as a child. He began working in construction after graduating high school and honed his skills to become regarded as one of the best interior finish carpenters in the area. His commitment to excellence and attention to detail showed through in every aspect of the work he performed.

Paul grew up on a farm and enjoyed running tractors and farming. He also liked camping and riding his side by side. He often reflected fondly on the time he spent riding and racing four wheelers with his family and friends. Paul was a member of the Wilmington Church of Christ and was a 1985 Graduate of Blanchester High School.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, February 2, 2023 at the Wilmington Church of Christ, 909 W. Locust St. with Pastor Dale McCamish officiating. Burial will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington. Visitation will be held at the Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 W. Locust St,  6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2023.
